D-Mail on it's Way.

New Port Richey, FL(Zone 9b)

Delisa,
Stamps are in the mail. I'm trying to remember who sang "Paved Paridise" was it Carly Simon? Who got me humming it all day today! lol Don

Hooks, TX

I know I'm late for this list - but, please put me on the next list that you offer.
(or, I'll keep watching the forums for another offer).

Thanks,
Louise M.

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

It was "Counting Crows" (They paved paradise and put up a parking lot)

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Mary you are hip! But the original was sang by Joni Mitchell I think.

LOL Don as I was driving through The Villages today I was humming it to a friend of mine. While the landscaping is lovely we miss the wild country and native habitat.

Louise M. you will be first if I do more seed. I was sick all week and sitting here with not much to do and this thread has kept me busy.

Hooks, TX

Delisa,
Thanks for placing me on a new list.
I hope you feel better soon - it's no fun feeling low with all this beautiful spring weather!

Delisa,
Big Seeds! I can't wait to plant them. Thank You so much.
The last 2 weeks have been so hectic. I have worked 120 hours in the last 2 weeks and it hasn't left me much time besides watering my pots and garden. I am 'bushed'.
The stamps will be in the mail tomorrow.
Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well, but I guess it is to our advantage because we get a chance to grow these wonderful plants.
Thanks Again, Marie

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Counting Crows wasn't the first group to do that song, Joni Mitchell did do it in or about 1970. (i'm not that bright on years or artists, i googled it. lol)

Paradise, TX(Zone 8a)

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the seeds. Received mine yesterday.

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Delisa, I just got the packets!! I'm off to Wally World for another tub. I'll soak them when I get back. I don't try to peel the seeds, terrified that I'll break the inside. So I'll soak till tomorrow evening then plant.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Delisa - I peeled the outer seed shell very easily with my fingernails and have several planted in peat pots currently. How long should I expect before germination?

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Becky I have had anywhere from 3 days and later up to some time after I give up and toss them out. They love being tossed out.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

Delisa
did you get the seeds i sent you? plmk

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

AuntAnne just remember if you don't peel your seeds you will have to be sure that the seeds are growing in an environment where they have plenty of humidity. They will need the humidity so that the corks will stay moist and the seedlings will be able to shed them with ease. Once all your seedlings have shed their corks humidity plays much less of a role in their health and well being. Many people complain of headless seedlings because the corks dries on top of the stem and rots the primary leaves before they can emerge. Then the whole top falls off leaving you with just a stick which usually just withers and dies.
