CLOSED: mean looking bug on sunflowers

these bugs were all over my sunflowers last year and now they are back! yucky! they sure look like mean little guys lol. can anyone help me identify these? thanks so much!

It is a Leaf-footed Bug of the family Coreidae, but I cannot find an exact match

and they will kill the growing tips of anything they munch on, including my roses! i catch them with a tongs and squish them.

great idea! aren't they mean looking? they creep me out lol. they often fly at me when i get near. they send my girls squealing away many times lol.
