June 7th Lily blooms
another view...quick before the high winds and hail we are expecting. What a stressful lily year this has been so far.

Congrats. Happy to see your lilies are blooming.
You might see a hefty stalk behind album, that's' Black Beauty'. This poor martagon is hidden, because for 2 years after I planted it, it sulked, and I thought it rotted. I bought it blooming, but thought it vanished. So now it is hidden amongst a tree peony and Black Beauty. Can't believe I haven't split it in half while planting other stuff. I'd move it now, but why would I want it to sulk yet again?

I have Pink Pagoda opening today.
Just when I think I have a ton of lilies, you guys (like Moby) show me all that I need to make room for. I like that one , Moby.

Beautiful, llilyfan. They are so short too.
And these are really short...about 8 inches! Planted last fall, a hard week long freeze in April after a week in the 80's, and rain everyother day for the last 6 weeks!
I think I love them!
My album is also in bloom and she is just so lovely. I think yours must like her 'woodland' setting!
