I got one of those stacking planters for my succulents when they out grew the strawberry jar. Shirleygirly - I love the way you did your stacking pots - it's beautiful. KateG - you did a nice job with your planter. Just wait until everything fills in - it will be one big gorgeous container!!

Pirl's Photos of container gardens Part 2
That's pretty dale. What is it?
Pirl is on vacation!! Wish I were also! Eleanor
Grammy: So glad to see somebody else has used this planter. I think it is really unique. Yours looks great full of succulents! My friend was over tonight and seen it, and thought it would be a really good orchid planter! I think so too.
Personally, I just wanted a place to keep herbs neat, and the mixture of flowers is fabulous. Can't wait for mine to fill out, It really is quite an invention and I wish I had of thought of this! hehe. They really are fun to plant, as the pots aren't that heavy and you can re-arrange them easily...Being on wheels, you can also turn them,
Love it!
PS: When you walk by it...it smells heavenly! Rosemary, basil, lemon balm, citronella - It could be a new perfume! (smile)

KatG - that really is an awesome planter. Mine doesn't have wheels since it is only 2 tiers. I also saw them with chains going through the middle so that they can be hung.

Ooh, pretty blue dale....hmm.....must make trip to nursery for blue....
The blue is torenia, uses lots of water, but, great summer plant for the torrid zone know as Florida. I like Browallia, but, it really likes cooler weather that what we have in summer and winter is too cool here. The best Browallia I ever grew was in the summer in San Francisco, here is a window box from my gardening days in The City by the Bay, 1991>
I just LOVE all these pics!! Very Inspirational!

Here is some of Gail's (gessiegail) containers that were potted up when we organized her patio. Gail had been buying various plants since at least April but had never gotten around to potting them up so I told her I was going to get her organized. It took us two days but the end result was worth it.
First, here's a few of the patio. One side of it was hard to photograph; the pictures always turned out dark so I won't post those. Then I'll post the containers. There are quite a few containers but what can I say . . . we did a lot of plant shopping during the early spring time.
Patty, I am going to buy a new camera tomorrow.............your pics are much more vivid in color than mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! darn it!!!!
AND a big thank you for helping me do most of the work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow!!!
Patty & Gail - looks like you two worked you butts off! Look's absolutely fantastic! Very inspirational!
that is a new Fittonia that always keeps small leaves no matter how big the plant gets....i think it is cute, too............we always have access to Lowes which carries the Angel Exotica.....that is where i get all of them.........just got a new one last week called Red Veined Fittonia.....it is a lighter color...
Gail..are those Thai Beauty Caladiums?
sorry Kat.........I just picked them up at a nursery.......have no idea the name...
