Ron's Merremia Aegyptia

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

Seeds from Ron. Here is the cotyledon.

I just had surgery on May 31st...so I am a little late getting my seedlings started. I think there is still time to get a good crop this year since the really hot weather (80's) is just beginning to hit.

This plant has a lovely bloom and I am glad to have a chance to grow it. I have never seen seeds available.

Beth, That is going to be one lovely bloom. Like the lvs too.
I wondered why you weren't posting. Hope everything went well
with your surgery and that you're getting better every day. I know
you're happy to have it over and done with.

Beth - Glad to see the Merremia aegyptia sprouted...perhaps in a few days the cotyledons will be fully developed and a nice aerial view would be good for the PlantFiles...

TTY,...

Ron

P.S. - few activities are more relaxing for me than floating on my back in water...

Beth I hope all is well and nothing major with the surgery...

How long did the seeds take to germinate?

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

Seeds were quick germinating...about 3-5 days.

Thanks Beth.

Here is the seedling now. A slug came and ate off one of the cotyledon leaves, and I was worried for a while, but now it seems to still be progressing.
