I have noticed these growing in the yard but never took a close look before. They typically get mowed before getting very big. This is the first time I realized they were even a vine.
ID anyone?
Misteriosa incognito
Kevin - It doesn't appear to be a MG,although reminiscent of Calystegia......but you could let some of it grow out someplace to know for sure...
It looks similar to
Smilax bona-nox Greenbrier, Cowvine

or perhaps
Smilax rotundifolia Greenbriar, Bull Briar, Horse brier, Cat brier,Common Green Brier,
http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/107803/
possibly a yam of some type
Dioscorea bulbifera - Air Potato
http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/11367/
Dioscorea villosa
http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/9460/
You'd probably get a more accurate ID in the Plant Identification forum
http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/plantid/all/
for any non-MG's...
