is a good reference photo...

The bloom on the right is showing nice white enlarged reproductive organs and these are most likely functional...

The bloom on the left is showing small darkly yellowed anthers that look like they have not opened(dehisced) to release the pollen...The stigma looks small and dark brown...

The repro parts in the bloom on the left are showing signs of what is known as premature senescence (aging) which can afflict overly bred MG's...parts that have prematurely senesced (aged) will not be functional...

I'd recommend hand pollinating blooms with repro parts that look like the bloom on the right...
