CLOSED: Beetle?

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

My first guess is Swamp milkweed leaf beetle but I have low confidence on that.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I bet it's one of those Asian Ladybird beetles, Harmonia axyridis. Did you get a look at its face, or maybe another picture?

I don't think so, Claypa. The spots on mine are more squarish and connected, plus it's more yellow than any other pictured. I'll try for a face shot next time, I saw a few out there.
This is the only other pic of it I have, wrong end I'm afraid, lol.

Now you're talkin'. Looks good to me. Thanks.
I just spent half an hour on BugGuide looking for a moth cat, without success. I'm so bad at searches, it's frustrating.
Thanks

You're welcome, it was a lot more fun than ID'ing moth caterpillars! They are impossible sometimes, so many of them are nearly identical.

The Asian Ladybugs are so common and variable, I guess I was just being lazy guessing that's what it is.

Is this the Asian Ladybug? Gray face with big black 'W'.
Sorry, another butt shot.

Well if you'd taken a picture of its face instead, it would look like an 'M', but even that is variable. Take a look at this picture bonitin took of the Asian Ladybird, it looks like a butterfly instead of an M or a W:

Yes, 'butterfly' is good.
HA, a bug with a butterfly tattoo.
