CLOSED: And the other hornet, more common one

Stockholm, Sweden

This one is a very common hornet in Sweden, I just need the scientific name for it.
It's about 4-5cm long.

You have marked this one as solved but haven't revealed what it is! I think it is probably the European Hornet (Vespa crabo): http://demons-et-merveilles.club.fr/galeries/hymenopteres/pages/frelon.html
Could you add your image to our BugFiles entry here: http://davesgarden.com/bf/go/902/

Thx Kennedy, for your help on all my posts. I appreciate it :)
Sorry I didn't post what I ended up labeling it, and others, as.

I've labeled this one just as you did, Vespa crabo.
I now sometimes post here before I've searched the net for hours and found an answer.

I think I sent 3 versions of the same. I tried making the last one a bit better. Hope you don't mind Kennedy, or whoever manages them.
