Tidewater Workshop or wood vs. 'polywood' furniture/benches

Has anyone bought this furniture? How has it held up? I know my children would love the little children's Monet bench to put by the fish pond.

I like the idea of using the recycled-plastics (polywood?) furniture, but it's quite a bit more expensive than wood and I know there are certain drawbacks/limitations to it.

Any thoughts or suggestions on outdoor furniture--I'm also looking for a sturdy porch swing.
