Lily - the very top is turning brown - help!

Edgewood, MD

The very top of my Stargazer lily - where the flower will bloom is turning brown. There are no bugs. It does not appear to be borsytis.

I'm in zone 7.

I'd remove the affected leaves and peel those other ones back a bit to get more air in there ~ and still treat with a fungicide. There is another fungus that affects the growing tip. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I removed the brown leaves and will spray a fungacide this weekend. I could not find anything online about a fungus that attacks the top of leaves though. If you know where I can find a good resource that will educate me, let me know. Thanks again.

I'll be danged if I can find the article again, but I'll keep working on it.
