Arborvitaes in shade

I have some spots I want a natural and thin hedge (so the truck can get in back yard), between our house and the neighbors. With only late AM and early PM light, (directly overhead)will they do OK?

Mine are in full sun. Thuja occidentalis that I have seen in shade doesn't look too hot. You may want to go on a search for a different plant for the area between your house and your neighbor's house.
