Problem with Adding New Bug

I have tried to add the Caribbean land hermit crab (it is common land crab, so hope it counts) but it does not recognize Decapoda (which has already been added) or family Coenobitidae (not suprising since it has not been added yet). Is there some kind of verification process?

We now maintain a check list of orders and families and only administrators can add new ones, to make sure that they are appropriate.
I have added an entry for the Caribbean Land Hermit Crab (Coenobita clypeata), which means the family is now recognised for further additions.
