I am planning to plant ice plant seeds on a slope in my back yard. Does anyone know the best way to do this and how to care for it (watering, fertilizer, etc.)until the seeds sprout?
PLANTING ICE PLANT SEEDS
I would suggest you put some of your seeds into small pots to start .. just in case the ones planted outdoors don't do well. They do transplant well once growing. I have had huge mounds of them.. until a year ago when they all just died on me. No idea why. They did well in hot west texas sun and did not require a lot of water. At least they survived and thrived with just routine sprinkler watering a couple times a week. I never really though about fertilizing them... they may have done even better!
Good luck.
