Once again I got fooled! I checked a bud and it was a seed pod .. so in desperation I forced what I thought was an immature bud open and voila!

yOu know, I bet it is a night bloomer. The one I had got killed by the dog here, he licked all the soil off the roots after I watered it with fish emulsion.. it will really be interesting to see the flower..

It may still produce regular sized flowers...Ipomoea pes-tigridis likes it hot(!)...

Well its averaging in the mid to upper 90's in the day time and 60's at night .. its in the greenhouse.
