Help a newbie to DG

I still don't quite understand the site even though I have enjoyed the forums. Do I list all my haves/wants on my own page? How do people know to go there when I have a new post? ISn't there somewhere at DG where I can see ALL the lastest wants/haves together instead of wading through page after page. I don't even know where to find everyone's names. I have asked for help several times, but I still don't get it. H-E-L-P

To make your list of haves and wants: Look to your right at the box that's titled "woodspirit1's menu", and click on "woodspirit1's page"....then you can click on "edit" for the "have" or the "want" lists. At that point, you just type in what you have or want, and click "submit".
To view other member's lists: Again, look at the box on your right. Click on the word "members". You'll notice that beside the members names it says whether or not they even have seeds listed. The ones that say "yes", just click on that person's name and you can view what they have or want.
As far as how people know about your latest additions to your list, I think that's listed on the home page towards the bottom. Hope this helps!

I just checked to make sure, and yes...the latest additions to member's lists are on the home page. Just click on "home" in the box at your right, then scroll down.

If you are looking for a specific plant, use Dave's wonderful new search engine. You can also access that in the box to the right of this page under Search.

O.K. I think I understand much better now. Thanks for your input ( and so quickly, too)! I have listed a few things I would like to have a 2 I have to trade but I am very limited on the purple cleome now.

Hi Trish! Great to meet you!! I'm not too sure where Dave puts his Newsletter. Anyone help? I'm pottering around looking at the Forums. That's a great tractor that Dave's got. He seems a busy sort of person. Don't know how he manages to fit all his work in. Well, I think I'd better have another look round. Bye!

To subscribe to Dave's Newsletter, click on Preferences in the box on the right. At the bottome of the page, there should be a check box there to click in to subscribe. Hope this helps.
