Faerie Gardens!

Candyce - check out Michaels or AC Moore for the frame of a fairy house. Sometimes they have little wooden houses that are just the right size or you can use a bird house also. If you are handy or have a DH that is you can even make your own. It was fun to do. Just make sure glues, paint, etc. are for exterior use or are weather proof. Have lots of fun. Eleanor

Eleanor ~
I was actually thinking of using leftover exterior paints and painting river rocks to look like thatched fairie houses. I had seen something like that on TV a long time ago, and the thought stuck with me. I live next to a river of sorts, so finding the larger, rounded rocks shouldn't be much of a problem. The problem will be getting them from the river to my workspace. They will be heavy!!

Candyce - that sounds like an awsome plan. Post pics of finished houses. Eleanor

The house is just ceramic unfinished with a coat of paint and twigs glued on. A thin layer of moss for the roof. The tiny items from A C Moore. This year we are building a tower out of small stones. Just look around go to a thrift shop there are all sorts of places to give you ideas.
