CLOSED: good guy or bad guy?

I think it's one of these, I never heard of any problem with them except maybe just the large numbers of them that show up sometimes...

I don't think so Clay, mine are a more tan whereas these are reddish. Also the legs of this one are black and mine are a grayish with a black "band" sort of at one of the "knees".

That link is to the genus Leiobunum with the species unknown... maybe in the genus Phalangium?

I went to the genus Phalangium and mine don't have the little pincers. I have no doubt that they are daddy long legs. Just don't know the exact species but they are prolific reproducers. Who knows maybe I have a one of a kind. lol

Some of them can bite the ever-lovin' out of you but you don't swell or get any weird stuff from it. LOL I love them too. :)

i try not to get close enough to find out about biting, lol. But they really don't seem like they would hurt anything. It's a bit of a shock though to be leaning on the railings, or working in the flower bed and look over at one coming ove my shoulder. lol
