Hi X.
I have one that is doing the same thing.. well, Wedding Bells has lots of buds on the same stem, but one turns yellow and the other continues to grow. Don't know if you can see that smaller one hanging off.. lots have fallen off. I don't know what is causing that.

I wish I knew what was wrong so I could fix it .. I guess double mg's aren't going to happen for me this year .. sigh.

This is something you don`t notice when the plants are in full bloom. You noticed it because you are waiting for the blooms. In time the problem will very likely go away on it own. Do make sure yourplants aren`t getting too hot. Extreme exessive heat seems like it is bad for them.

It's in the greenhouse so it's only getting very bright filtered sun.

The reason I mentioned heat is because I notice this happening more on my plants when it is hot. It does happen regardless of temps outside. Anyways, I notice better budding and successful pod forming when the temps are not extreme. I even made some screens using canna plants and even planted some sunflowers and it seems to help. The cannas and sunflowers help screen the heat without shading them out. Some of them seem to benefit from afternoon shade especially when it is getting over 80 degrees.

i have my Gypsy Bride in full sun out side

Mine is in full sun and I`m not seeing any dropping buds. However, I did put it by the garage where it gets full sun most of the day and afternoon shade.

I checked mine and you know what? Mine do have some fallen buds. It looks like more than one forms and then only one lives to flower. Check out this picture. One will live and bloom while the other bud is dying off. It might be normal for this to happen. I will say wouldn`t it be splendid if they had multiple blooms on each stem. That would look wild.
