Beth and Gerris2 The Gypsy Bride bloomed

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

It happened. I planted Beth`s seed and two were from Gerris2. So far they are white with distict blue "eyes". These are pretty for the first blooms. The plant is developing and growing so changes may take place. I`ll show the more mature blooms later.

Great job! The "blue" eyes may shift towards purple in the evening.

I went and looked and they already have turned light purple.

I lightened the picture a bit. I couldn`t lighten it much without messing it up. This might look better.

I think this is my favorite morning glory. I've got 2 up, hope I get blooms.
I find it interesting that the two I soaked are up but the two I just planted, no
soaking or nicking, are still not up. How many days, roughly, from sowing
till bloom?

It took about 8 weeks.

Those are really nice looking flowers. Good to know they don't take so long to bloom too.
