Id eat that critter as surely as he eats my flowers.
Iguana tail is delicious
He is not native to the area and relocating only perpetuates the problem as hell do fine anywhere hes put.
A pellet gun will take him out no problem.

we're in rattlesnake, scorpion and havalina country.

fortunately, i was blessed with the chance to see these blooms the night they opened. later that night the havalina came through and ate all four buds. hmmm...next time i better protect the cactus. LOL

most people shoot rattlesnakes around here. supposedly, it is not good to relocate them. i hope i don't ever have any in my yard. and to think that i want to move closer to the desert.

i've had scorpions and turantulas in the house. turantulas get a safe passage to the otherside of the fence. scorpion...

i wonder sometimes if everything has a place on this planet. and that always leads to the realization that maybe somethings have purpose in destruction. okay, too much deep thought for the plumie forum. LOL

Dete,
I'm sorry to hear that the Javelina found you. They can be a pain in the... So far I haven't had a problem this summer but the year isn't over. I had 2 rattlers and 2 other snakes. I let the others live. I'm so use to scorpions by now that it's no big deal.
Nothing is like not being able to go out the front door because you have a rattle snake curled up there.

OH no!! Our neighborhood is being taken over by the green Honduran Iguana. I counted 3 different ones in my Bamboo this morning...I thought they were only going to be a threat to my Hibiscus, which they love, but my Labrador keeps them moving...Now that I have planted 3 new plumerias, I will have to be extra watchful!!!...They're gonners when I catch them!!!

You guys, how would you feel about starting a new thread about critters that eat plumerias? This topic as gone far off the original topic and is, in fact, misleading because the USDA isn't the one that chopped up the plumerias.
