I have a small jaboticaba tree (1 foot) shipped to me.
It is split in the major crotch, in the middle of the two largest branches.
Is there a way to glue them back together? tape them?
It's tied together right now, to prevent further splittage.
The split goes down an inch or two. If it continues it will go down the entire tree.
It's losing a few leaves, but I think that's shock because it's colder here than it's used to in VA.
Small tree split in crotch
I'd return it as a poor quality plant.
