pdoyle: Wow! What are you feeding that thing?! Sure has grown and really filled out that pot. Makes me nervous now cause I planted sweet potato vine in with my impatiens too! Planted it about 2 weeks ago.

That Sweet potato vine is something else...I just have the clippers out every weekend and keep cutting it back! It trims well though with no shock issues. It's quite a grower!

I'm gonna have to trim mine too. The impatients are just not able to keep up. I watered the pot one good time with superthrive and then just give it some water when needed.

Nice potted plants everyone. Especially your dog KatG. I haven't done any thing other than check on my pots to be sure they are moist enough since coming home from my Birthday week on the coast with my daughter. She is home in VA now and we are both back to doing our own thing.

I took a few pictures but haven't even taken time to down load them. However we luckily had aome rain while I was gone and the weather cooled off. Today only got to 71 degrees with clouds and fairly windy. Maybe I will get caught up with planting soon.

Kat,

Beautiful as always. And I like the way you worked that dog into your garden design. What a nice accessory. :-))

I really don't work the dogs into my pics! They're just always there! hahaha

That one photo cracks me up though - Ziggy actually looks worried about the Sweet Potato Vine! LOL! They really are my little gardening buddies!

Here's my other one! She's the gardening Queen...kind of drives me crazy when I'm digging and I just don't get it! She's so curious, but I just wonder if she think's I'm digging up bones. She follows me around continuously when I'm planting things!! It's humorous after a while!

KatG, Love your dogs. Are they Silky Terriers. I had one once, had her for 13 years before I lost her. Loved her, she had diabetes and I gave her a shot every morning for 3 years. Now I have a Lhaso Apso, a very smart little dog, also stubborn!!!!!!!. She goes everywhere with me in the garden, but doesn't like riding in the car.

Here is a photo of a Heuchera Carmel in a purple pot.
