Yesterday was a cloudy, dreary day; today is the same. I googled sunflowers yesterday for research. Three beautiful photos came up and I enlarged one to fill my whole screen. They are four huge, yellow sun flowers
with huge dense black centers. The picture is so bright and the black contrast is so intense that it is almost hypnotic. A great thing to look at during the rain!

Just looking at Mother Nature's bounty makes us feel better...I love sunflowers..thought I'd start some from seed..got a seed container with 96 pods..filled them up, they started to grow, had them in spare room that gets mega sunshine, and lo and behold I forgot about them and they are all laying down, ready for the kill...added water last night so I'll have to check and see if they've raised their little heads...poor wilted souls...

I never think about googling for a nice photo for computer...I'm just learning how to use it so I'll have to play and find a flower site...enjoy yours and thank you for sharing..
