CLOSED: Not a bug but what is it?

I know this is some lizard. The two of them were visciously fighting. If it was mating somebody dies at the end.LOL I did not know where to post this. Somebody smart tell me what they are.

Speaking of eating something. I'm out in the backyard last night and see something move on the backwall. Its a gecko eating a roach. Way cool.

Marie you are right . Both are mature males of the broadhead skink. I have never seen these very large lizards before. Blue tails alot. Stay in the garden and you will learn something everyday.

I believe these are a pair of mating Broadhead Skinks.
The male is the one with the larger, Red head.
