Hmmm .. there is a stand of bamboo next to the library .. I'm thinking I should do them a favor and thin some of it out! ;-)

I heard that you can't start bamboo from cuttings.

Yeah, I think you have to have at least one rhizome..

Great looking bamboo Paul.

I could sure use a bamboo windbreak now.. just lost 270 + tomato plants, veggies to the wind here this past weekend.. now we have tornado watch until 1 or 2Pm.. My MGs were all outside too, barefooted and all, I ran and got as many as I could back into the house, DH saw me and started helping me.. I didn't lose any but some were in real bad shape, so, I started a few more seeds to replace those Hige types.. oh well.
