CLOSED: Blue bird (Don't think it's a Bluebird) in my back yard.

Beautiful photos Ron! I just love those Indigo Buntings.

Mine eat out of a sunflower hearts only feeder and also out of a mixed feed that contains sunflower hearts. I never did see them around the mix with the thistle seeds.

I'll kick this up again. I just saw my first male Indigo Blue Bunting on our property since we built our home 5 years ago. They were probably here all along...but he came up and set in our tree off and on all day yesterday. Sure is a beauty. Does anyone know....do they hang out in groups, or do they like to keep to themselves?

I have always seen them by themselves or pairs (male/female) and with their fledglings.
