I'm assuming you are referring to Chinkapin (chestnut related), and not Chinkapin Oak. You might have better luck asking in the fruit & nut forum.

I think I remember passing through Orange coming back from Houston last year. All I remember seeing is a Chrysler dealership. It's strange what we remember sometimes. LOL

lol then you pretty much passed very close to my house..All I remember from Atmore is the prison.

I'll try over in the fruit and nut forum thanks..have a friend that wants a a Chinkapin tree and is dying for some of the nuts (she had a tree as a child) and as a surprise I wanted to try to buy her a seedling and see if I could find someone on DG who would be as kind to send me or sell me some nuts (if or when they came into season.)
