AKA Acanthopanax sieboldianus "Variegata." Is anybody else growing this? What shape and form does it take? How quickly does it grow? Is it deer resistant? Thanks!

Eleutherococcus siebolidanus variegata
Bump. Can anybody help me? Anybody?
Scott
Scott,
Here is the sum total of what I know about the plant: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/698959/ I have seen a small one in IA in shade that seemed kind of slow growing. The picture in the linked post was in Toledo (I think) and it seemed pretty happy and growing well. Perhaps the plant has an affinity to OH. Or perhaps it just builds up steam as it gets older.
Regards,
Ernie
