Hiya ..
We have 2 large Globe Cedars in the yard. Unfortunately we have not kept up with much pruning .. mostly because I'm the pruner and the Cedars are in an area that is home to a few spiders which I LOATHE .. so it has been a 'snip and run' for the last few years :-(
This year these Cedars HAVE to be taken back .. any suggestions on how aggressive we can be with them without totally shmucking them up ??
Thanks Bunches

Pruning a Globe Cedar
How to totally not shmuck up globe cedars? Just reading this for the first time. Had to laugh at your snip and run comment.
I've never pruned a cedar before.
I found this for you online but I'm sure there are other websites with information-
http://www.gardenline.usask.ca/trees/cedars.html
:-)
Thanks for the link .. I did go ahead and took 1/3 off .. the degree of "schmukitude" seems to have been minimal and I did the pruning at 7am to avoid any spiders !!!
The Cedars look kinda way OK ... in fact .. if they could talk .. they'd thank me
:-)
