Does anyone know of a Glossy Abelia that would be evergreen in my zone (6b)?
Glossy Abelia
I'm in Cincinnati and mine is semi-evergreen. Even now, after this winter, it looks okay. But would I use it to screen, say, a press that prints $100.00 bills? No. I wouldn't do that.

Thanks Scott. I would really like to have some of these as I have heard wonderful things about the smell, and I love fragrant gardening. My only problem is that as I am adding plants to my landscape, I am realizing that I have NO evergreens.
I just thought of something to add. From a one year plant of "Canyon Creek" that I have growing in my yard versus my much older plants, which are probably "Edward Goucher," "CC" is a much nicer plant. More compact with a much much more refined foliage, although, perhaps not as glossy. Presents a much finer texture. Couldn't tell you much that I'd trust about the foliage retention on "CC" just yet, though.
