Pony Tail Palm 'Yellow Star' (Nolina recurvata var. albomarginata)

Dunellen, NJ(Zone 6b)

I have seen in the year 2009, these variegated PonyTail Palms come up on EBAY for sale at a cheap price. I only see younger Variegated Pony Tail Palms come up for sale. But if you are looking for one, its a great source to find them.

i'd say buy the biggest one you can afford, they are slooooowww growers.

I haven't found mine growing that much slower than a 'normal' Beaucarnea guatamalensis, but it isn't getting the large base that the B recurvatas get... at least that part is slow to happen.

Well shoot. LOL I want, I need.

I hope yours does so well, Nery!

Saw a nice one in my local nursery today... $40 and 3' tall... just drive down and it's yours

I so wish I could go to your local nurseries. That one would be sold.

I thought the same when I read Palmbob's comments. It would have been so gone! lol
