Here I am trying to catch up with the baby news!!! Bad seed you are a woderful bunny Mommy!!! Just look at that precious baby! I do know that bunnies are not hot weather lovers ! They actually do not get much care from their Mamas! She will leave them alone all day, ( to prevent predators from finding them) so the little ones only have the warmth from their litter mates to keep them cozy! So cool temps will not hurt them but high heat will! I couldnt save my babies from their dumb Mama, but you were lucky! Im so sure you will raise that cute little bumpkin. If it is growing hair already , you are doing some fine job!

I've not taken a picture of baby bunny today but here is one from yesterday. It's eating, drinking, gaining and going potty. :) I think it looks different every time I see it! LOL
The picture is blurry but it moves a lot.
I was worried about it being wrinkled but comparing the two pics, I can see it is not starving. LOL

Been a bit busy for the last week or so...............trying to catch up to speed! GREAT job on the baby bunny. He/she is darling. So tiny! Sounds like you've been rather busy!

Everything I read said to buy kitten replacement formula. One site said to add something, can't think of the name, I think it's the bacteria in yogurt, acido something? LOL Another had a recipe using goat milk. Hubby went to tractor supply and the guy there said they had sold out of all of it but the 10# bags. So he sent him to Wally World. Hubby ended up with puppy replacement formula.
I'm sad to report my bunny died yesterday. :( We would like to try again and have them in time for 4H but have an issue. She'd have them just shy of the Ohio Round Up when we'll be on the run and have company. They have to be a certain age for the kids to use them. I need to redo the math and see if I wait a week or two, if the age will work out right. We are trying to breed responsibly so want to do it when we know they'll be wanted/needed.

Im not even going to breed mine again! Im going to find the girls homes and keep the male! I get so sick when I lose the little ones!
