Easter Lily question

Pasco, WA(Zone 6b)

Now that my Easter Lily is done blooming I want to plant it outside. When do I do that and is there anything I should know? Do I wait until the leaves turn yellow or do they even turn yellow? Thanks for any and all help.

Go ahead and plant now. The leaves and stem may die back earlier than usual but they will come up on a normal schedule next year. I've heard of forced easter lilies blooming a second time in the season. Not common but it can happen.
