lol, the only reason i say that is that (imho) anytime they have that little brown head, they are usually not good. it's not going to turn into a big, beautiful butterfly.

Many of the skippers and moths have brown heads...I say 'don't squish'.

I can't tell by the pic what it is, but my guess would be a moth that is going to find a place to pupate on the ground.

Here's a picture of it that I took the other day - still can't fin it to get another better picture. It does have the white "hairs".
