Who'd have thunk that Thump would be giving pony rides especially after the rough start we had together? Well, my 9 year old niece Sabrina has been taking riding lessons and worked her tail off in the barn with me last week while they were visiting so I promised her I'd let her ride. I also let her sister, 7 year old Sarah ride and of course Abby can't be left out. I put them in the dog yard (just don't tell Thump that's what it was) and led them around for a while. I let Sabrina and Abby go on their own as they both have taken lessons but I led Sarah as she has not ridden before. Thump did really really well altho I could tell it was pretty stressful for him and as soon as he started showing signs of being stressed I stopped the rides.
