Did everyone have a nice Easter?

Columbia Heights, MN(Zone 4a)

It was so nice today, I was just itching to get into the yard. But familly duty called me away, so the closest I came to nature was posing Ollie with his "Easter" lily this morning. It's actual a dwarf asiatic called Mahogany Red.

We both ended up with lily pollen on our noses.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

How sweet! Happy Easter to you. It was a beautiful day. Wind subsided, so we worked on our new shade garden today.
Asiactic lilies bloom so eary on your zone. Those are lovely!

They came from the grocery store. I've seen a few lilies next to the house poke up, but I remulched them due to the cold temps we've been having.

Same here. Everyone came over to my house, and, me being single I think you can guess how house cleaning might be. Thank god for Saturdays. I did have a huge bouquet of pussywillows inside, and showed off my Pulsatilla turczaninovii (a species of Pasque Flower) to the one person in the family who would really "get it". It's not blooming yet, but to me, the "fir" on it is so long and thick on brown stems that it looks like more beautiful than the flower itself.
