Annie's Annuals "Rare, unusual annuals & perennial plants, including cottage garden heirlooms & hard to find California native wildflowers"
Her upcoming talk schedule and list of So. Calif. nurseries at this link:

Home page http://www.anniesannuals.com/
The nursery prices are much less than the online prices so if any of you So. Calif folks have access to those nurseries, be sure to check out the offerings. Of course, those nurseries won't be able to offer all her selections, she does have a wonderful array of unusual plants. We in the SF Bay Area are just pleased as punch to be tempted with so many unusual plants not easily found elsewhere.
Annie's coming to So. Calif!
Sue,
Annie came down here to my town several months ago to "Cottage Gardens" and I was out of town on that day, so couldn't go see and hear her talk. The little nursery is now carrying a selected amount of her plants and they are not cheap.
I went to the nursery about 2 weeks ago and came home with several of her plants and the nursery said they would be getting another shipment in the next week. The said they would call me when they came in (can you believe that?). Well they did call and I went over and picked up 2 more 4" pots of annuals that I have never seen before. I can't remember their names right now. I really look forward to growing her stuff for the first time, and really hope they reseed nicely for me, so I can have them next year and maybe trade some off also.
I just checked out your link for her schedule here close to me again. I won't be able to attend that one again, as that day I will be showing my gardens on our local Garden Tour. There will be close too 400-500 people tramping through my small gardens....what was I thinking!!!! lol Jasperdale is also on this tour on the same day. Wish us luck. :-)
Here is a link about the tour http://www.heardsgardentour.com/
Thanks for posting this information for us.

Oh Donna, wish I can tour your gardens but my Mom and I are planning on touring 3 Berkeley gardens that same weekend. This year is already becoming such a busy one! maybe some pre-tour tour pictures here and we can pretend we were there! best wishes on a happy and safe turn out.
Sue
I'm waiting for the announcement of when YOUR garden is going to be open for a tour Calif -Sue !
AKKKK, never, only tiny snippets of closeup images to fool everyone that I know what I'm doing!
Maybe someday soon I hope though, I am working on it a lot lately.
I promise to take lots of pre tour pics to share here at DG. I don't know if my gardens are dd's show quality gardens, but I've been wanting to be on this tour for a long time. I created my gardens from touring this same tour for several years and I hope the gardens perform for me as I want them to be.
I am scared to death!!!! lol
Donna
Donna, I'll come through and bring a friend and talk *loudly* about how beautiful everything is and what an *absolutely stunning designer* you are!
Sherry
Oh Sherry....What a great friend you are!!!!!! giggle giggle

My friend DeAnne's house was on one of the garden tours here and I thought all the work would be the death of her. You're a brave soul. One of the houses in Huntington Harbor that was on the tour a couple of years ago had a piece of ceramic work, done by some people whose work I would like to collect, sitting outside in their yard. To my mind this was far beneath it's station and after leaving, I was sorry that I didn't ask if they'd like to sell it...I'm hoping they're on this tour and this time I'll ask. If they valued it so little, perhaps I could actually afford it!
