I like the color of the darker throat. Nice contrast. I wonder what it looks like to bees and other insects.

I grew up in Florida (Lauderdale) and lived in Florida (High Springs near Gainesville) most of my adult life. South Florida sucks big time, Central, Florida is infested with tourists about the only place in Florida that was half way decent was North Central Florida until all the refugees from South Florida started moving North.

And another thing. Hurricanes. Big junkie mutant hurricanes.

The picture is of Hurricane Wilma and that one was puny.

I was unfortunately born in SoCal and the summer heat sucked big time, and the earthquakes did too, and then they ration how much water you can use on your lawn and garden.....so I got out years ago. I love Oregon!

ok where would you live if you could?

The only place in CA that seemed okay was Santa Barbara, but it's too crowded anyway. I'll stay in the Willamette Valley!

I have a uv light that i use to find kitty mishaps and small items dropped on the rug. I think I will try giving that a try on some mg's.

I'd like to also mention that uv light is excellent for find glass shards on the floor and carpet. I discovered that when I dropped a glass, and it shattered. I swept, hand mopped with a towel and vacuumed and promptly stepped on a shard of glass I missed a few minutes later so out of desperation I got my uv light (which in the past had shown me just how bad a job I was doing vacuuming) and discovered I had missed a lot, especially on the kitchen rug and even some that had fallen into the kitty's water bowl!
