I have a small cookbook titled "Sit Up And Beg!" that's full of recipes for dogs and I thought I'd share some of them with all of you. Most of them are for treats, but there are a few for meals. I'm not guaranteeing that any of these are balanced, I'm just sharing the recipes for those who might like to have them. Someone who is more versed in doggie nutrition can look them over and give us the low down on any health issues.
15 Minute Liver Treats
1 lb. chicken livers
1 cup flour
1 cup corn meal
1 Tblspoon garlic powder
1 egg
Place chicken livers and liquid in blender. Add egg, mix a minute more. Pour into bowl. Add flour, corn meal and garlic powder. Mix. Spray jelly roll pan with non-stick spray. Pour mixture into pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400*. Cut into small squares while still warm. Keep in freezer to prevent spoilage.
