Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I can't think of a much better place to get carried away than Buggy ;0)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I had never seen such BIG bulbs!! It was really amazing and couldn't recommend anyone better.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Buggy Crazy sent me some HUGE Orientpets last fall that have massive "noses" on them already this spring. I don't know what she uses to grow them, but they survive well in my garden.

Indianapolis, IN

Don't forget your state plant societies :) I am the president of the one here in Indiana and we have 42 types of lilies for sale this year. The bulbs are all large and beautiful and we are selling each for $3. I know that you can't find our least expensive one for less than $6 in a catalog. Some cost us more, some cost us less, but we average the price out at $3 to keep things simple. Keep in mind that we represent all of the divisions as well, so the variety is awesome. I am sure that you can find a local society somewhere near you that will have a similar sale setup. Also, keep societies in mind for any kind of special plant that you are looking for. I love peonies and specifically joined the local society here because of the selection and prices of their peonies. Plus, most societies have a hybridizer in their group that is always playing mad scientist and creating something cool.

Didn't even think of that ~ great suggestion, Steph. There's an awesome society available to queezbeez up there in MN, the North Star Lily Society, and the sale is April 14.

Columbia Heights, MN(Zone 4a)

Just a note about the NSLS bulb sale this month. I've heard that there will be a limited number of bulbs and it is expected to sell out early. I don't think our pricing is as nice as 3.00 per bulb, but they are generally cheaper than what you can buy them from the vendor. If you are wondering what they look like, I found all of them either at the Lily Nook or B&D Lilies.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

I've ordered enough. Gotta close my pocketbook and plant what I have....

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Wanda, famous last words? :) heh heh

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Wanda, you MUST share with me the secret to closing the pocketbook. Lol!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Just get a hubby chroming his Harley & buying a new trailor to haul his gun behind it--that will wipe out your lily stash pretty fast!

Marietta, GA(Zone 7b)

Happy Birthday QueenBeez :)
