Pretty pretty pretty. I bought some seeds to try! Hope they turn out as nice.

I just finished knicking the seeds. It was rather dangerous with a knife. Any other ideas? Linda

I just found the thread on knicking hard seeds.

Rubbing the seed on sandpaper works well to get through the seed coat. Gently grab the seed with a pliers or use your fingers but be careful not to abrade your skin; this method also works with Canna seeds.

I don't think I have ever knicked a seed before planting.
