I still had an old packet of organic fertilizer, meant for evergreens and when I opened it, I found these larvae. Can anyone ID these ?
On the package was written; "organic, living fertilizer". It is certainly living!!!

It's a beetle larva but I can't say which. There are so many it's hard to differentiate them. Maybe you can feed them to the birds. Great pictures, as usual. I have your crocus with a butterfly for my 'desktop background'.
