I need to pick up some Neem Oil tomorrow...can anyone suggest a good source for 100% oil other than the health food stores? In other words....cheaper? I'm trying to avoid doing a lot of running around when I should be home working on potting instead! Thanks.

Neem Oil
I don't know if you really want the 100% stuff...I think you can find concentrates at garden centers that are around 70% and they have a little bit of surfactant in it which will make it mix with water. I always buy the ready to use sprays though so I'm not positive if they concentrates are available locally or if they're just through mail order.
Thanks, I haven't had cause to use it for garden purposes, but I was pretty sure I didn't want to spend for spraying what I spend for health uses. I found it on ebay, but would like to spray tomorrow, so I'll go hit one of the box stores.

Okay, I answered my own question....after hitting WM, HD, and Armstrong Nursery (none of which had a Neem oil spray), decided I would bite the bullet for today and pay what the health food store wanted, which is $10 fo an ouce of pure neem oil. Good news is they had 16 ounce bottles of 100% neem oil for horticulture use for $17..this makes up 48 gallons of solution. I don't know if 'Sprouts' is a chain available in other areas, but they carry it. Brand name...Organix South, Inc.

I know I have found Neem oil before. I think it was at Orchard's Supply Hardware, but I'm not positive.
I'm glad you found it somewhere. That's probably in the ballpark of what I paid for my Neem oil.
Thanks, maybe I didn't hit Lowe's....I'm not real big on running around looking for things. I'll check them to compare prices.

If you haven't used it on plants before, just be sure to only use neem oil when it isn't hot. It can fry your plants otherwise.
Thanks, doss......I was wondering about that when I sprayed them a couple of days ago and it was sunny. Apparently didn't do any harm then, but I'll be careful!

You're lucky - I thought I was in the safe when I sprayed green beans last year, but then of course, the sun peeked under the oak tree as it set and fried the leaves to bits.
Oooooh, I think I was lucky. I usually don't do anything in hot weather or sunshine for fear of that.
Very happy with Gardener's Choice Rose & Flower 3-in1 Spray. I purchased a 16 oz bottle of concentrate almost a year ago and it still half full as a little goes a long way. It's 70% neem and I use it on everything and pretty much for everything!
