I am interested in getting a mixture of different colors for my 90 yr old mother since they are so easy to raise. Any contributions would be welcome. I do have some of one color blue i think but would like some of the prettier ones. I will pay for SABE. Thanks Fran

Fran, send me a SASBE with 62 cents loose postage, a return address label, and a note that you'd like a packet of my "fence mix" MG seeds... I planted at least a dozen varieties in a new bed along my neighbor's fence last year (let them grow up sunflowers rather than up his fence), and I collected seeds from as many as possible... I'm sure some are self pollinated, other are crossed, etc... but you should get a good mix! I'll send you at least a teaspoon or two of seeds.

If you'd prefer a mix of named varieties from somebody else, that's fine too. But the offer stands! :-)

Sorry I am not interested in them any longer. I wanted them earlier in the spring and now I dont but Thanks for the offers anyway. Have a great summer and that is a very good idea of growing them up tall sunflowers.I will keep that in mind next time I want to plant some. Fran

Fran, there was a glitch yesterday where old threads were getting bumped up on people's watched lists... If you note the date of my post, I did offer you seeds "earlier in the spring" when you asked, and so did Skimper... not our fault that you didn't see the thread again until just now! :-)
