need suggestions, seedlings are getting tangled together

Lindenhurst, NY

HI, This is the first year I've grown morning glorys indoors inside the small cell trays. So the seedlings are very close to one and other. I notice as they are getting taller they are vining onto each other. Anyone have any good ideas to keep this from happening? Or should I just pot them up?

Thanks

Sounds like they are definitely ready to pot up! They will like the extra room.

I have taken to planting individual seeds in individual containers (styrofoam cups) ...so I can give them the room they want and also not have to transplant before planting outside.

I have not grown MG's inside, but many here have with success. - Arlan

It's going to be pretty hard to keep them apart in those cell trays. I would pot them up and give them something to start climbing on. Do you have them under lights? Or lots of sunshine... If you are going to be growing them on inside they need lost of light, it will be a while before they can go in the ground round here!!
