Last year I bought some bare root Trilliums. 4 red and 4 white. I put them in my husband's workshop and promptly forgot about them....til today. I found them while cleaning out my cabinet and potting some other things up. To my surprise, they had sprouts and lots of roots. I potted them up. Will I be able to transplant them? My yard is under water right now, so even if I had the time, I couldn't plant them til it dries out some...
Thanks!
Michelle
Trilliums...
I don`t know if they are like the wild ones, we have in our yard. I dug up quite a few of them and put them in pots last spring and planted them late summer and I see that they are coming up around the trees ,now. I will have to wait till May and see if any bloom..We have hundreds of them in our woods.. and we have about 100 yellow lady slippers..We also have hundreds of trout lillies. We just have 1.52 acres . I moved them because we are putting a shed, where all of them are.. Aleta
Ohhh...lady slippers are my absolute favorite flower. I envy you, Aleta! :)
