If it has to be forwarded to a new address, you may not hear from for 2 weeks.

Hi Guys...

Long time no speak...

I moved just south ... near Charlotte, NC .. to a town called WAXHAW !! (I know, I know.. it sounds worse than it is really is)

I am ok -- or least I am of sound health and mind (although my wife may beg to differ on the latter). I just have not been able to garden for about one year now with the move and all, but we did cut down two large oaks in our new yard (getting ready for some summer sun in a few months)

We just bought a new computer (could not go on dave's garden on the company's computer). This is the reason I have been out of commission for more than a year now.

I always heard that Charlotte was so warm .. we have had nothing but dry cold months since we moved here.. I hope it gets warmer soon !!!

Welll,, hello Kenneth... I guess I am one of those folks who never unwatches a thread. I don't guess that takes up space in my computer memory anywhere...LOL We figured you were just retiring or something and moving to a 'warmer' climate. You should have moved on down farther south.. as in Georgia. Well, it has been cold and rainy a lot here this winter. Not complaining about the rain though.. Glad you are back in the 'garden'
Now about Grimaldi???? LOL Glad you are still of 'sound mind'

Welcome back Kenneth, glad to hear you are ok even with the cool weather.

Kenneth, we are having a Southern Appalachian round-up on May 3 between Asheville and Hendersonville. Check out the round-up forum. I hope you'll come. You can probably get a lot of plants there even if you don't have many to share this year.

Hi Robin, I hear you like brugs too (a little Tammy bird told me) LOL
Oh,,, another roundup... going to go check my calendar. I love Toxaway.. and I have a 'few' plants.

Elaine, yes I do love brugs. I only have a few noids and one named brug. I am trying some seeds to see if I can get some to grow, so far it is about 50/50. Some have germinateed and get about 4 inches tall and somehow I manage to kill it. But I keep trying.

The Southern Appalachian Round-up is not in Toxaway where I live, but at Lake Julian between Asheville and Hendersonville. I understand we will have some folks from ABADS and the other brug group (can't remember the name), so we should have some nice ones there.
We have a thread for sign-up and hotels, one for swap chat and one for swaps (no chatting). Let me see if I can get this link to work:

thanks,,,, now I may stretch myself too thin, but I would love to come to this one. I love Asheville, too and I have 'old' friends I need to visit too. And of course those gardens.. I may have to get my mom up and come over...
Hey,, that Deborah you were looking for may be Cordeledawg in Georgia.. not sure, though.

Hi kdjoergensen, Glad to hear that you're okay.

If I may be so bold as to ask, is your Grimaldi cutting offer no longer on the table?

:)
