Has anyone had experience with Green Mountain Transplants, Inc? I saw their ad in Horticulture Mag and sent for their catalog. It's a new concept to me.
You order in flats. Either 38 or 72 in a flat. You can mix and match the plants as long as the flat is the same size. Many plants are $.55 each, some more pricey. They seem to have a wide variety or veggies and flowers, both perennial and annual. Many new varieties such as the "Crazy Daisy."
New Catalog-New Concept
Is that $.55 for each cell in a 72 cell flat? If it is that means they charge at least $40 a flat for veggies or annual flowers.
Sorry, Mainiac. I've never ordered from them.

I've never heard of them either. Are they on the internet? If so, can you post their url so I can look them up? Thanks!
Here is the link to their site:

I went to the site. Here is what I found:
I filled up a 38 cell flat with a mix of Dicentra, Geranium, Coreopsis and Helenium. The cost? $90.50 Plus $5 boxing charge Plus UPS shipping charges. I clicked submit on my order form to find out what my exact total would be and it was sent directly to the company and it never told me what the total charge would be. I did not want to place an order! The total charge would be over $100 for a flat!
