Hummingbirds are Here
They're gorgeous Debra~~
:-D
Those trees are so fantastic!!! OOHHH!!!Did you find them at a Nursery or a Home store? LOVE it!!
~Adrienne
Aren't they unique? They came from a nursery called Goodwinds in Memphis, TN. It's a great nursery if you are ever in the area and can visit. They only had four. I walked past them and around them about three times and realized if I didn't get them I would regret it. Now I'm glad I got them. I think I'm going to put them into a large enough pot to plant the pot with lantana also so there will be two levels of blooms. The butterflies and hummers should get excited about that! I'm thinking I can over-winter them in the garage and not have to replant the pot and disturb the tree roots every year.
Debra
sounds like a good plan.. I know the butterflies love lantana so hummers and hummets should too. LOL
Elaine
Love those lantana trees.
Hummer report! We have at least 2 males and 2 females I've been able to confirm. The two females were both sitting on the jasmine vines outside the bedroom window this morning. The two males have been chasing each other around the courtyard area. I hope we lots and lots this year!!
Debra
The ruby throats are in Christiana, TN officially (at least for ME!).
Yippeee!
Now, about my butterfly bushes...

Saw one!! While walking my pup during a break in the rain I surprised a lil hummie trying to find some nectar in my Garden. :)
Adrienne
Yippee! Glad they've made it to Palm Harbor, Adrienne. We have about 7 now. They 'swarm' our patio and courtyard all day from sunup until sunset. We are going through sugar water faster than we can keep the 6 feeders filled. Such fun!
